“Whether we and our politicians know it or not, Nature is party to all our deals and decisions, and she has more votes, a longer memory, and a sterner sense of justice than we do." - Wendell Berry, Farmer and Author
Craig's approach to development is rooted in his deep understanding and care for Nature. Educated with a Bachelor's of Science in Ecology and a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Craig has continuously bridged the precepts of the nature - culture paradigm. The development projects he works on seamlessly integrate the legal, financial, engineering, architectural, ecologic, social and cultural frameworks into a streamlined process from conception to construction.
“It’s because of the people who are working toward sustainability, and because of my own experience, that I know how quickly the decision to go that direction, though it may start out with a feeling of sacrifice, turns into a lifetime of rejoicing.” - Donella Meadows, Founder of Cobb Hill Cohousing
Craig has been working on, and living in, farm centered intentional communities since 1997. He has continued to develop his professional skill since focusing his 2000 Masters degree graduate thesis in Landscape Architechture on the "Design Management and Ecology of Seven Biodynamic Community Supported Agricultural Farms in New England" His breadth of professional and personal experience is enhanced by his listening skills and ability to advocate before allied professionals and municipal officials.
